Areej Iqbal Qureshi was announced winner for the Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Award at the occasion today. He is one of the four upcoming designers who showed their fashion collection at the Fashion Pakistan Week 2017 opening. He received a cheque of Rs. 500,000 from the Chief Marketing Officer, Aly Mustansir of Bank Alfalah. Through this, the bank aims to give an admired stand for new designers to exhibit their flair in work and turn their ambitions into achievement.
Several transparent jurors worked on shortlisting the winner of Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Award. There were three contestants who were lucky enough to exhibit their work for the very first time. They were Zafar Ahsan Naqvi from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Fatima Abdul Rauf from Pakistan Institute of Fashion & Design and Tooba Chottani from Asian Institute of Fashion Design.

This talent program by Bank Alfalah aims encourage, stir and identify young and future talent in Pakistan and give them opportunities to reveal their talents.
