According to the PITB’s Hall Policy 2017, 9061 branches of 10 banks have received applications which shall continue till 26th April.
There will be about 179,210 pilgrims from the country carrying out Hajj this year, with 60% going with the Government Scheme and the remaining by the Private Hajj Group Organizers.
Banks have already received over 200,000 application since April 17. The deadline for closing of application is April 26, 2017. The draw will be held on April 28th. At least 9061 branches from Allied Bank, Bank of Punjab, MCB, UBL, Bank Alfalah, Meezan Bank, Habib Metro, NBP, and Zarai Tarqiyati Bank are taking applications of Hajj from all over the country.
