JS Bank Wins Two Corporate Social Responsibility Awards at CSR Summit & Awards 2016

All good is happening for JS Bank. In the recent CSR Summit & Awards 2016, the bank got the honor of winning two awards for Corporate Social Responsibility.

JS Bank received its first award for Social Impact, a positive effort by the bank to cater areas such as healthcare, education, sustainable development in the country and relief work by doing community programs to benefit different areas.

It received the second award on behalf of the bank’s President – Mr. Khalid Imran, as he was given “CEO of the year” award on his efforts and support to enhance the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility. This cause and message was even emphasized on for the banks, through a TV commercial aired recently.

It is to note that JS received recognition award for Corporate Social Responsibility for the fourth time – fourth consecutive year. The ceremony for awards was held at Karachi where professionals from different sectors such as corporate and government, NGOs, media personnel came to outshine the event.

Being the fastest growing bank in Pakistan, JS has a strong grip in management and experience of banking. Its charitable activities and planning are looked after by a sub-division of the bank – Mahvash & Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation, primarily made for charitable activities. It is a great setup made to better lives of needy people.
