Meezan Bank has collaborated with 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited, an interbank payment network service provider in Pakistan, to give PayPak exclusive Debit Cards.
Being Pakistan’s first local payment system, PayPak is aimed at giving a native alternative for international payment schemes, per press release on Tuesday.
By providing lucrative payments and well-organized payment services to every citizen, PayPak will not only enhance the usage of ATMs and POS (Point-of-sale) terminals in the country but will balance the Government’s initiative of better financial inclusion in Pakistan.
Speaking on the event, Deputy CEO of Meezan Bank, Ariful Islam said, “The launch of PayPak Payment Scheme is an excellent initiative and will develop the payment industry in Pakistan.”
It will benefit in growing use of plastic money. Not just this, it will widen access to financial services in the country.
Meezan bank is happy to accept the new payment system that will open doors benefiting every citizen.
